The top outside edge has been sealed to help prevent possible leaking. 

Please note: sealing the top rim only helps to stop leaking. It is not guaranteed. It is also not guaranteed stop stress fracturing around the rim/neck of the cup. To stop possible stress fracturing, we suggest sealing from the inside with UV resin.
